Admire your optimism but we're not better than Man U, City, Arsenal, Chelsea. Between five to ten is more likely. 11 - 15 unlikely. Relegation a remote but disastrous possibility.

not with a europa league campaign we wont. chelsea wont be quite as shit this year either.

If we were to get Bacca in I think a Top 6 finish is achievable, which is an improvement on last year.
Man City, Chelsea, Man U will all be harder to beat than last year.
Arsenal and Spurs will be there or thereabouts.
Liverpool, Leicester, Southampton, Everton, Stoke and ourselves battling it out for the next tier is my view.
Still believe we need a striker even after signing Ayew and Calleiri as Valencia and Sakho need to be moved on.
If we don't sign a 20 goal a season striker, then we will be in that third group scrapping for points.

Chelsea playing just once a week this season will be a force but onwards and upwards hopefully for us.

At the moment we're a top 10 club and could realistically end up anywhere from 3rd to about 10th.
The striker would push us above a couple of teams like Southampton and probably Everton and Stole to a top 6 likely side.
You're dreaming if you think a rightback is coming in though!
Sounds like Bacca definitely ongoing though. Can't fault the club if they push to finalise that (assuming we can afford it).
Tough job for Slav keeping them all happy though. Tore starts to look about 5th choice.
Be massive upgrades on the likes of Moses, Emineke, Sakho and Valencia.

Not sure how you work out Tore as fifth choice, Slav has wanted hi since the moment he joined and I'm sure he will have equal opportunity as the others

Really don't understand the animosity towards Bacca...will be his last move and he's holding out for the best deal he can get.
As someone who grew up watching the likes of Gullit, Van Basten, Rijkaard and Papin at Milan, whist we had such worldwide unknowns as David Speedie and Mike Small, the idea that we're on the verge of signing Milan's best striker is somewhat unbelievable.
Signing Bacca would be a game changer. Get him and wouldn't swap our squad for Arsenal's!

Tore would likely be behind Payet, Lanzini, Feghouli, Ayew, and Antonio.
No matter how you look at it he'd be about 4th or 5th choice in the wide spots.

Over a full season Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal , Chelsea and Spurs are ahead of us.
Liverpool will improve and of course you cant discount Leicester though Kante will be a big loss and Champions league will stretch them.
At the moment we are still trying to outdo Southampton.
Patience peoples.

We are showing genuine ambition - that's the main thing.
I still see us shipping goals, I think we are too weak at the back but I think we'll have a "we'll score more than you" attitude.
A top 8 with giving it a go in all cups and beating Spurs and I'll be very satisfied.
I just want to be entertained and be building toward a 4-5 year plan of breaking into the top 4.

can't see us getting in another LB, when cress is fit then we'll have three. byram can cover there, as could ogbonna at a push, perhaps even nordveit. could even revert to a back three and use a winger as wingback as we did a few times last season.
